Sunday, a true Family story

Sunday is a day when we like to get together as a family, share memories and good times around a good meal.

Sunday is above all a family story, the story of Nelly and her grandmother Manée.

In 2014, when Manée is admitted to the EHPAD, Nelly lives in the USA, her sister in China and her brother in England. It then becomes very difficult to communicate on a daily basis with their beloved grandmother. That's at this time that Nelly, Yoann and Pierre, the 3 co-founders of Sunday and friends from high school, have the idea to tinker with a small box to be connected to her TV, so that Manée can easily receive the pictures of her globe-trotting grandchildren on her screen. It quickly becomes her favourite TV channel and Manée is a great example: her friends at the retirement home are now asking for their little magic box to stay connected to their families! That's how Sunday was born!

For Nelly, Pierre and Yoann, Sunday's core values are a wonderful cocktail of Love, Authenticity and Attachment to family. An amazing team that shares the same vision: innovation can respond to many social and societal challenges. Thus, after meeting healthcare professionals who have joined Sunday Care, the founders set up the company in several healthcare institutions to strengthen family ties. Sunday Care quickly became the medicine of happiness. In addition to recreating bonds, Sunday Care stimulates cognitive functions, memory, and soothes during periods of care. Then, in October 2018, Sunday Care took the plunge. After a stint at the CES in Las Vegas, where Sunday was voted 2nd innovation in the TechStar programme, Sunday arrived at the biggest retailers in France... and the adventure took on a new dimension!
